About Me.

Katrina Anderson, LPC-IT

When my first daughter was born, I suffered from severe postpartum depression and initially struggled to find the help I needed.  From this, grew a passion for mental health education and awareness and a deep desire to decrease the negative stigma.  About a decade later, I was privileged to turn my passion into a new career in which I am able to pay forward the care and support I received when I needed it most.

While every story is unique, I bring a level of empathy for your struggles to my practice.  Whether you are 5 or 95, I want to help you better understand your mental health while providing the skills to improve your quality of life,   I also have a passion for helping clients better understand the the struggle of their loved ones to hopefully be better equipped to support their struggles while also maintaining a healthy level of self-care.  Additionally, I care deeply about perinatal mental health and would be honored to help you and/or your partner navigate the challenges that can come with conceiving, pregnancy, and the postpartum period.

I am a LGBTQ+ affirming counselor.  While I don't claim to be an expert of any kind, all are welcome in my practice, so please come as you are and I will do my best to meet you where that is.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters.  I enjoy reading, crafts, taking walks, swimming, and taking in other sports, especially NFL football and college basketball.
